  1. Go to Microsoft Dynamics GP > Tools > Setup > Equipment > System > User Setup.
  2. Complete the following fields:
    • User ID
      Enter or choose select the user ID.
    • Default Branch
      Enter or choose select the branch to default for inquiry windows for the user.
    • Show All Branches
      Select this checkbox to allow the user the ability to view other branch information in the inquiry windows.
  3. Select Save.

The following windows have the branch filter drop-down field added. If the user has a branch assigned, these windows will default to that branch. The user can choose select a different branch or all branches, however, the Show All Branches checkbox in the User Setup window needs to be marked.
