You can automatically update equipment records in Equipment Management upon completing a task in Service Management. To do this, you associate Service Management tasks with a unit of measure and then use that task on a service call. If a numeric task response is entered in the Service Call Tasks window and the service call is linked to an equipment record in Equipment Management, and the task assigned to the unit of measure and equipment record matches, an operating log will automatically be created. The operating log will automatically update the Usage Life to Date field in the Equipment Manager window.
