If you are using Time’s Manager Approval feature, use the Manager Setup window to assign additional managers who can approve timesheets for an employee. The manager must be a TimeTrack user and be assigned to manage other employees in the TimeTrack Registered Users window. You might find the need to assign an additional manager if the employee’s TimeTrack manager is unavailable to approve timesheets. Available Managers: Shows a list of all managers who can be assigned as a delegate to approve the employee’s time. Available managers are displayed with a red bar. Note: If the selected employee is a manager, their name will not display in the available managers list.
Assigned Managers: Shows a list of the managers and delegates who can approve the employee’s time .

To assign/unassign a manager:
In Time, select Administration.
Select Manager Setup.
Click the Employee drop-down and select the employee.
In the Available Managers column, select the vertical button to the right of the manager’s name.
Drag the manager to the Assigned Managers column and drop on top of the existing manager. This will move the manager to the Assigned Managers column.
Unassigning the managers works in the same manner. You will need to drag the manager back to the Available Managers column. The employee’s manager assigned in TimeTrack cannot be moved to the Available Managers column.
