Start the Job Safety Analysis

You can access the Job Safety Analysis regardless of the appointment status. However, if JobSafetyValidationLevelService (and/or JobSafetyValidationLevelJobCost) = REQUIRED in the Admin setup options, you can't complete the appointment until the Job Safety Analysis report is requested. With the respective setup option set to OPTIONAL, the Appointment Completion window displays instead of the Job Safety Analysis.

With the assumption that the setup option is set to REQUIRED:

  • For service appointments, the Job Safety Analysis begins when the status of a service appointment matches the job safety starting status that was defined during setup. For example, if the starting status is DISPATCHED, the Job Safety Analysis displays for you to complete when the appointment status is DISPATCHED.

...

  • If you attempt to complete the appointment without the Job Safety Analysis completed, the JSA inspection form opens.
  • For job appointments, the Job Safety Analysis begins when you select the job appointment and then select Complete
Note

You can access the Job Safety Analysis regardless of the appointment status. However, if JobSafetyValidationLevelService (and/or JobSafetyValidationLevelJobCost) REQUIRED in the setup options, you can't complete the appointment until the Job Safety Analysis report is requested.
