  1. Right-click on the Signature MobileTech Server x-x-xx.exe file.
  2. Click Run as administrator.
  3. In the Welcome window, click Next.
  4. Select to accept the License Agreement and click Next.
  5. Enter the following information:
    • Dynamics GP System Database
      Dynamics defaults into this field but you can change this if your database name is different.
    • SQL Server
      Server Name\Instance Name.
    • SA Password
      Enter the SQL system administrator password.
  6. Select Next. The ODBC runs a connection test.
  7. Enter the MobileTech SQL user account password (twice) and select Next.
  8. Enter the Sync Server Details:
  9. If the Signature Registration Web Service is installed on an https port, mark the check box.
  10. Click Next.
  11. Enter the Error Report Email Address.
  12. Enter the Windows Task Scheduler Scheduled Task Frequency. This defaults to 15 minutes however you can edit this to your preferred frequency.
  13. Select Next.
  14. Accept the default installation location or navigate to where you would like to install MobileTech Server. This defaults to C:\Program Files (x86)\Signature\MobileTech\.
  15. Select Next.
  16. Select Install.

  17. The Administrator: Windows PowerShell command window opens to run a Resco script.

    Note
    This script may take approximately 5 minutes to run. When everything is done installing, you will see "Press any key to continue.." as the final line.


  18. Press any key to close the command window.
  19. Click Finish in the Signature MobileTech Server Setup window.
