Running the Full Business Sync Task

Run the Full Business Sync task by right-clicking on the task and then selecting Run Task. This may take some time, so we'd recommend running this task overnight. You will be prompted to enter your Accountlink credentials.

Before Running the Full Business Sync Task for the First Time

When you first install AccountLinkClock, it is recommended to run a Full Business Sync from the AccountLinkClock user interface and that you are into Windows with the account that will be used to run the AccountLink Scheduled Windows task. This ensures that the account has sufficient account credentials to successfully run a Business Sync.

  1. To run a Full Business Sync via the AccountLinkClock user interface, login with the appropriate Microsoft Dynamics GP account information in addition to the Clock Connection account information.
  2. Verify the following configuration options are marked by selecting Config > Options Config from the menu.
    1. On the Business Sync Options tab:
      • Force update of all records
      • Do mass updates when possible for improved efficiency

      • Mass update page size: 5000

      • Note
        For larger data sets, it is very important to set the Mass update page size to 5000.
    1. On the Business Sync Data tab, verify that none of the options are marked.
  1. Select Save.
  2. Verify the user.config file was successfully created in the following location:
