  1. From the Start menu, open MobileTech Admin
  2. On the MobileTech Administration Login page, enter information in these fields to connect to the MobileTech database.
    • Server Name
      Enter the SQL Server name and instance where the Signature modules are installed. Example: server\instance.
    • Authentication
      Choose Select the authentication mode. You must have a valid SQL Server logon login set up.
      • Windows Authentication
        Use your Windows user credentials to log on.
      • SQL Server Authentication
        Use your SQL Server credentials to log on.
    • Login
      Enter the name for of the system administrator (sa).
    • Password
      Enter the password for the system administrator.
  3. Choose Select Connect.
  4. If multiple companies are installed, the MobileTech Administration Login page is displayed again. In the Company field, select a company and choose select Connect. The active company is displayed at the bottom left of the MobileTech Administration page.
  5. Enter the email address, password, and the other information for the administrator, and then choose select Create/Update.
  6. The following options may need to be updated, which you will be prompted for:
    • Organization database
    • Resco middle-tier database(s)
    • Database objects

      Note

      If you are not prompted to install database objects after you log on, choose select Tools > Create MobileTech Objects. You must install database objects for each company. For more information, see Set Up MobileTech Options.

  7. Choose Select Process
  8. Continue setting up MobileTech.
