To work with jobs, select Jobs from the home screen. From the job list, you can:
View existing appointments for a job.
Create a new appointment for the job.
Create a time entry without a job appointment. See Create Time Entry for Job Labor w/o Appointment.
The job list displays the jobs currently on your device and includesor, using SERVER MODE, a job in the middle tier.
Each list entry includes the following job-related information:
Job Number and Description
Customer ID and Customer Name
Location ID and Location Name
...
You can search from either your DEVICE or from the SERVER. The MODE is indicated at the top of the window.
DEVICE MODE - The job list displays only jobs on your device.
SERVER MODE - The search field is available you you can search by job (job number, name and , description) or customer location (customer name, customer number, location name, customer ID, location ID, address IDnumber). An internet connection is required.
Only the customers within your branch display if Global Filtering is enabled in Signature.
A Customer Location/Equipment search field is displayed at the top of the form if the customer locations and equipment exceed the Fetch Limit settings. This is a case-sensitive field. The search field defaults to Customer Location however, you can select the drop-down to select Equipment.
