If you are using the Resco Inspections, you have the option to use the updated version of the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) form. With this version, the Safe Location question has been relocated towards the bottom of the form. This allows the technician the ability to complete the questions. Additionally, when indicating that a hazard exists, technicians can identify what task causes the hazard and how they can mitigate or eliminate the hazard. When the report is completed, the inspection from the service appointment completion form. The inspection is tailored to ask specific questions about the site, to allow the Technician to identify hazards, and to document the steps they will take to remove risk. When the inspection is completed, a Job Safety Analysis report is generated as a PDF file and is attached to the service call on the device and in Microsoft Dynamics GP.

- In MobileTech AdminAdministration, go to to Tools > > Launch Resco Cloud Dashboard.
- On the Questionnaire Designer Reports tile, select Open Questionnaire DesignerReports.
- From the menu bar, select Select Import.
- Navigate The window opens to the previous location (Program Files (x86)/Signature/MobileTech/Admin/Inspections/Job Safety Analysis folder).
- Select Job Safety Analysis.xml.
- Select Open.
In the
Questionnaires List window, scroll down to and select Job Safety Analysis.From the menu bar, selectImport New Mobile Report window, enter the Name of the report: Job Safety Analysis.
Note This report name must match the report filename.
- Select OK.
- Select the Job Safety Analysis report.
- Select Activate.

- Select Open.
- In the Questionnaires List window, select Job Safety Analysis.
- From the menu bar, select Edit.In the Import New Mobile Report window, enter the Name of the report:
- From the Commands section on the menu bar, select Edit.
- In the Command Dialog window, select the ellipsis icon to the right of Complete with a report.
- In the Select Report window, select Job Safety Analysis.
This report name must match the report filenameClick Select.Note - Select Save & Close in the Command Dialog window.
- Select OKSave & Close.
- Select the Job In the Questionnaires List window, select Job Safety Analysis report.
- From the menu bar, select Activate.
Set Use Legacy JSA to FALSE on each Device
If you are using Job Safety Analysis, each device will need to have Use Legacy JSA set to False in MobileTech Settings. If this step is not performed, the JSA Tasks icon displays on the appointment completion form.
