Use the Location tab in the Building Optimization Broker Mapping window to link/unlink Signature Locations with BOB Sites as well as you can create a new BOB Site from this window.
When you open the Building Optimization Broker Mapping window, your Signature Customers and Locations display, with each Customer Location on a separate line. This provides you with the ability to select which locations to link and track within BOB.
- If the BOB Client field is empty, you have the option from the ellipsis icon to Manage Client, which provides the ability to create the Client for BOB. See Creating a BOB Client.
- If the BOB Client is mapped and the BOB Site field is empty, you have the option from the ellipsis icon to
- Manage Site: Provides the ability to create the Site for BOB. See Creating and Linking a New BOB Site.
- Manage Contacts: Provides the ability to create and link the Contact. See Creating and Linking a New BOB Contact.
- Manage Equipment: Provides the ability to create and link the Equipment. See Creating and Linking a New BOB Equipment.
Accessing the Location Mapping tab
- Go to Cards > Service Management > Service Manager.
- From the menu bar, select Additional > BOB Site Tracking Setup.
The Building Optimization Broker Mapping window displays with the Location tab open.
You can select the Home tab to display the location and technician options. From the Home menu bar, select either option from here to open that respective tab. See Mapping Technicians for steps to map technicians.
- The location information for both BOB and Signature displays the current Location/Site data in both systems.
- Columns in this window:
Tracked - Indicates if the Location data is tracking in BOB.
Linked - Indicates if the Customer's Location and Site are linked.
ERP Customer - Displays the Signature Customer name.
BOB Client - Displays the BOB Client name.
ERP Location - Displays the Signature Location name.
- BOB Site - Displays the BOB Site name.
Linking to an Existing BOB Site
If a Location is not linked, the visual indicators that the Location is not linked would be that the Linked column does not display the link icon and the BOB Site field is empty.
- On the Technician Mapping tab, select the ellipsis to the right of the BOB Site field.
- Select Manage Site.
- In the New Technician window, select the Technician Name drop-down to display a list of BOB Technicians that have not been linked to Signature Technicians. Once the BOB Technician has been linked, that name no longer displays in this list. If the Technician has not been created in BOB yet, select Create Technician. See Creating and Linking and Creating a New BOB Site below.
- The BOB Technician's information displays in the appropriate fields. (Note that these fields are not editable.)
- Select Create.
- On the Technician Mapping tab, the Technician row is updated to now display the link icon and the BOB Technician name.
