You can initiate a new service call from the Equipment Master window for an existing equipment record. If you are creating a new equipment record, you will need to save the equipment record before you can select the New Call button.
Creating the Service Call
- To access the Equipment Master window, go to Cards > Service Management > Service Manager > Additional > Equipment OR Select Cards > Sales > Customer > Location > Equipment.
- Select the equipment.
- Select the New Call button.
- The Service Call window opens with the Equipment ID, as well as the Customer ID and Location ID, defaulting into the service call.
