Remote Tunneling
The Remote Tunneling functionality allows TCP connections to BAS global controllers (Ex. Niagara Workstation or browser access to web API).
- In Connect, choose the Configuration Explorer icon.
- From the tree, choose Agents.
- Right-click on the agent name and choose Properties.
Choose the Remote Tunnel tab.
- Mark Enable Remote Tunnel.
- Enter the IP address of the global controller.
- Enter the communication ports. For example, ports 4911 and 80 would give access for the secured Niagara Station via Fox Protocol 4911 and the standard http://127.0.0.1:80 from an internet browser. These ports could be used to hit a variety of TCP communications including the Niagara platform, utilizing unsecured port 5011, or utilizing a browser to access secured https://127.0.0.1:443 etc.
- Choose the Home icon, choose the Agent, and then choose Restart.
- On the Home page, right-click on the agent name and choose Remote Tunneling.
- In the Remote Tunneling window, choose Start.
- Close the window.
