Location records can be moved from one customer record to a new location record in another customer record. The location information, including service history "links" and equipment information is transferred when a location record is moved.
Note: You are not able to move a primary address location, a location with open service calls, or a location with an active maintenance contract.
- Choose Microsoft Dynamics GP > Tools > Utilities > Service Management > Move Location.
- Enter information for the old and new records.
- Choose Move.
