Use the Service Call Transfers window to view the cost and billing transfers from service calls that are pending (not transferred) or have been transferred. You can view the service call, call status, unposted costs, and invoice, and initiate the transfer from the context menus in this window.

From the Job Status window, you can quickly see if you have service call costs that have or have not been transferred depending on an icon displayed on the Call Transfer button. If no icon is displayed, the job number hasn’t been entered on a service call on the Service Call window.

Indicates that there is at least one service call that is associated with the job that has not been transferred.

green-checkmark.png

Indicates that all service calls associated with the job have been transferred.

To view the service call transfer information:

  1. Select Inquiry > Job Cost > Job Status.

  2. Select a job, then select Call Transfers.

  3. The Pending Service Call Transfers section displays service calls where the job ID has been associated with a service call (entered on the Service Call window) but has not been transferred to the job.
    Right-click on any service call in this section where you can:

    • View Service Call
      View the service call in the Service Call window.

    • View Call Status
      View the call status in the Service Call Status window.

    • View Unposted Costs
      View the unposted costs in the Unposted Costs window.

    • Transfer Service Call
      If there are any costs or billable amounts to transfer, the Transfer Service Costs to Job window opens. For detailed information, see Transferring Costs and Billing from a Service Call to a Job.

  4. The Transferred Service Calls display the service calls with the costs and billing transferred to the job. Right-click on any service call in this section to display a context menu where you can:

    • View Invoice
      View the invoice in the Service Invoice Inquiry window.

    • View Service Call
      View the service call in the Service Call window.
