If you do not have a Technician created in BOB that corresponds with the ERP Technician, you can create the BOB Technician record in Map2BOB. Creating the Technician will also automatically link the ERP/BOB Technician records.

1. Go to Microsoft Dynamics GP > Tools > Setup > Service Management > Lookup Setup > Technicians > Technicians.
2. From the Technician Setup window's menu bar, select Additional > Map2BOB Technician.
3. In Map2BOB, if the ERP Technician does not have a Technician mapped, the Linked  icon is not displayed and the BOB Technician field is empty.
4. To the right of the Technician row, select the ellipsis  icon.
5. Select Manage Technician.
6. In the New Technician window, select the Technician Name drop-down. Verify the technician's name is not listed. 
7. Select Create Technician.
8. The ERP Technician Name and Title auto-populates with the ERP Technician information, however, you can edit this information.
9. Enter the Email Address and Phone Number.
10. Select the Seniority Level.
11. Select one or more Specialties. (Optional)
12. Select Create.
13. On the Technician tab, the BOB Technician name and the Linked  icon display to indicate that the Technician is now linked.

Buttons on this window

• Reset: Resets the window to its original information without closing the window.
• Create: Creates the link between entities. (If you are also creating a new entity, this saves the entity and creates the link.)
• Cancel: Closes the window without making any changes.
