Use the Time App Batch Options window to define the batch naming convention to use.
The batch name is truncated to 7 characters when including the date due to a limit of 15 characters for the batch ID.
To set up the TimeTrack Batch ID:
Go to Microsoft Dynamics GP > Tools > Setup > TimeTrack > Setup Options.
In the TimeTrack Setup Options window, from the ribbon bar select Additional > TimeTrack Additional Setup.
On the Time App Batch Options tab, complete the following fields:
Batch Name options:
Custom Batch Name: Enter the custom name.
Employee ID
Employee Department
Employee Position
Date included in the Batch Name options:
No Date
Week Ending Date (Batch NameYYYYMMDD)
Transaction Date (Batch NameYYYYMMDDD)
Select Save.
