Resco Inspections is designed to perform the entire inspection process and the ability to generate a report directly on a device, immediately after completing an inspection. You can customize the report directly in the Questionnaire Designer or Report Designer. For information about how to use Resco's Questionnaire Designer and Report Designer, go to https://docs.resco.net/wiki/Mobile_reports_for_Resco_Inspections.
You will need to enable Resco Inspections in enabled in the MobileTech project. This also includes manually adding the Inspections icons to the Home screen and the Appointment Completion forms. with Inspections project, however you will need to assign the Inspector Role to any technicians who will be using Inspections (and the optional Job Safety Analysis). If you will be using the Job Safety Analysis, you will need to complete the steps to enable found here: Enable Job Safety Analysis (optional). Resco has a 30-day trial that you can use to evaluate Resco Inspections. After the trial, to purchase the Resco Inspections module for MobileTech, contact your Key2Act Customer Success Manager. If you decide you do not want to purchase Resco Inspections, you will need to Disable Resco Inspections.

Assign Inspector Role in MobileTech Admin
In MobileTech Admin, assign the Inspector role to the technicians who will be using Inspections (and the optional Job Safety Analysis).
Enabling Inspections
Inspections are enabled if you have imported the MobileTech with Inspections project and you do not need to perform the following steps. The instructions are provided if you want to enable Inspections on the other non-Inspections MobileTech project available in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Signature\MobileTech\Admin\Woodford folder.

Enabling Inspections

Enable Inspections in the Woodford Project
- In MobileTech Administration, go to Tools > Launch Woodford.
- Open the MobileTech project.
- In the left navigation, scroll down to the the Settings section section.
- Select Select Inspections.
- Mark Enable Enable Inspections.
- In the Configure Inspections pop-up, verify that your company has the appropriate license.
- Select Select Save from from the menu bar.
- From the menu bar, select select Add to Home Home to add the Inspection icon to the Home navigation in MobileTech and then select select OK.
- From the menu bar, select Add Add to Form Form to add the Inspection icon to the bottom of the job appointment form in MobileTech.
- In the Template drop-down, select select Appointment [appointment] and select select OK.
- In the Select Form window, select select Complete - Job Appointment and select select OK.
- From the menu bar, select Add to Form to add the Inspection icon to the bottom of the service appointment form in MobileTech.
- In the Template drop-down, select select Appointment [appointment] and select select OK.
- In the Select Form window, select select Complete - Service Appointment and select OK.
- From the menu bar, select select Install Report to to verify the Inspection Report is installed. If it isn't, you will install it now. Select Select OK.
If it is installed a "Report already present" pop-up window displays. - Continue with the steps below.
Move the MobileTech Inspection Icons in the Woodford Project
When you add icons to MobileTech, the icons are added at the bottom of each of the lists. We recommend that you move these icons so that they display logically with the other icons.
Move Inspections icon on the Home screen
- In the MobileTech Project, in the left navigation, locate the the Components section section.
- Select Select Home Screen.
- Under Menu items, locate and select Inspections | Questionnaire.
- Drag-and-drop or use the the Move Up button button in the menu bar so that the selection is below newcall. This moves the Inspections icon in MobileTech to display after the New Call icon.
- Select Select Save from from the menu bar.
Move the Inspections icon on the Appointment Completion forms
- In the left navigation, scroll down to to Entities.
- Select Select Appointment.
- From the menu bar, select select Show UI.
- Select Complete Complete - Job Appointment.
- From the menu bar, select select Edit.
- Select Inspections Inspections ( * ) and then either drag-and-drop or use the Move Up button from the menu bar so that this is below locationcontact. This moves the Inspections icon in MobileTech to display to the right of the Contacts icon in the Job Appointment Completion form.
- Select Select Save and Close.
Select Select Complete - Service Appointment.
- Select Select Edit.
- Select Inspections Inspections ( * ) and and then either drag-and-drop or use the Move Up button from the menu bar so that this is below locationcontact. This moves the icon in MobileTech to display to the right of the Contacts icon in the Service Appointment Completion form.
- Select Select Save and Close.
- Publish the the project.

Disabling Resco Inspections
To remove Inspections, there are a few steps that you need to perform in the Woodford Project.
Remove the Inspections icon from the Home navigation
- In MobileTech Administration, go to Tools > Launch Woodford.
- Open the MobileTech project.
- In the left navigation, in the the Components section section, select select Home screen.
- Select Inspections | Questionnaire.
- From the menu bar, select select Remove.
- Select Select Save.
Remove the Inspections icon from the Appointment Completion forms
- While still in the MobileTech project, scroll down to Entitiesto Entities.
- Select Select Appointments.
- From the menu bar, select select Show UI.
- Select Select Complete - Job Appointment.
- From the menu bar, select select Edit.
- Select Inspections Inspections ( * ).
- From the menu bar, select select Delete.
- Select Select Save & Close.
- Select Complete - Service Appointment.
- From the menu bar, select select Edit.
- Select Select Inspections ( * ).
- From the menu bar, select select Delete.
- Select Select Save & Close.
- Continue with the step below.
Disable Inspections
While still in the MobileTech project, scroll down
toto Settings.
- Select Select Inspections.
- Clear the mark from the Enable Enable Inspections check check box.
- Select Select Save.
- Publish the the project.
