You can now set up an action to send a text message (SMS) notification when an event has been triggered. For example, if an appointment has changed for a technician, the technician receives a text message immediately. See Working With Event Triggers.

We've added a new StartDate mappable field so that when creating an email message, you can display just the start date without the start time. See Mappable Fields and Labels.
