Creating a BOB Technician

If you do not have a Technician created in BOB that corresponds with the Signature Technician, you can create the BOB Technician record in the BOB Mapping Tool.
Go to Microsoft Dynamics GP > Tools > Setup > Service Management > Lookup Setup > Technicians > Technicians.
From the Technician Setup window's menu bar, select Additional > Technician Mapping.
In the Mapping Tool, if the Signature Technician does not have a Technician mapped, the BOB Technician field is empty.
To the right of the Technician row, select the ellipsis icon.
Select Manage Technician.
In the New Technician window, select the Technician Name drop-down. Verify the technician's name is not listed.
Select Create Technician.
The Signature Technician Name and Title automatically populates, however you can edit this information.
Enter the Email Address and Phone Number.
Select the Seniority Level.
Select one or more Specialties.
Select Create.
The New Technician window closes. On the Technician tab, the BOB Technician name displays. The linked icon is also displayed.
