XOi Deep Linking allows users to click a link in MobileTech to open XOi's Vision app. Within the Vision app, users click a Return button to go back to MobileTech.

XOi Integration Setup in Schedule

The XOi Integration Setup is used to set up XOi integration password and to view Schedule integration information that needs to be provided to XOi Technologies. If you are not the Administrator setting up the XOi integration, you can print Schedule Integration window from your browser.

This section displays if you have SEE registered. You will also need to turn on the XOi Deep Linking feature in MobileTech Admin. See XOi Integration in the MobileTech 8.0 Installation & Administration Guide for more information.
  1. In Schedule, select the Hamburger menu  and then select Administration.
  2. Select the Integrations tab.
  3. Under Account Detail:
    • User Name
      Displays the user name for the XOi integration.
    • Password
      Enter the XOi password.
    • Comfirm Password
      Enter your XOi password again. If you've mistyped the password, an error message displays that the passwords don't match.
  4. Under Integration Details, complete the following fields:
    • API Url
      Displays the Schedule API Url that is found in the Schedule log file. 
    • Signature Version
      Displays the current Signature major version.
  5. In the Active Dynamics Companies section, all active companies' details (Company Name and Company ID) are shown as more than one company may need to be set up with XOi Technologies.


Overview

With XOi Deep Linking turned on, four read-only notes are attached to the service appointment.

  • When the service appointment is created, Schedule creates three notes and these are attached to the service appointment.
    • Subject: XOi Site History

  • A video transcription note is generated after the Vision platform processes the audio. This may be hours after the appointment is completed, so this will not be included on the Call (or Appointment) Summary report.

An example of how a technician would use deep linking within a service appointment:

  1. Arrive on site.
  2. In the MobileTech service appointment, select the Vision Site History Open XOi Vision hyperlink to open the Vision app to the Site History information.
  3. In Vision, click return link to go back to MobileTech.
  4. Begin working through tasks in MobileTech.
  5. Navigate to Vision to “Capture photos” (appointment window chgs to add the notes & hyperlinks)
  6. In Vision, click the return link to go back to MobileTech.
  7. Continue working through tasks in MobileTech.
  8. Finish work tasks.
  9. Navigate to Vision for final image captures and “Create recap video”.
  10. In Vision, complete the Job (service appointment).
  11. In Vision, click return link to go back to MobileTech. 
  12. Complete service appointment in MobileTech.
