The transport delivery transaction records the date and time when a job was dispatched and delivered. Entering these times correctly is important because they are used to calculate the cost of the job if the delivery has been assigned to a subcontracted truck. This calculation will use the times entered on the delivery and the rates entered in the Transport Setup window. Once a transport job is marked as delivered, it becomes available for invoicing.

  1. Choose Transactions > Equipment > Transport Deliveries.
  2. Enter a Truck ID. Transport requests assigned to this truck are listed.
  3. For each job dispatched, mark the Dispatched check box and enter a date and time. A dispatched date and time must be entered before the Delivered check box can be entered.
  4. For each job that has reached its destination, mark the Delivered check box and enter a date and time. You cannot change the dis patched date and time after the Delivered check box is marked.
  5. Choose Process.
