The transport delivery transaction records the date and time when a job was dispatched and delivered. Entering these times correctly is important because they are used to calculate the cost of the job if the delivery has been assigned to a subcontracted truck. This calculation will use the times entered on the delivery and the rates entered in the Transport Setup window. Once a transport job is marked as delivered, it becomes available for invoicing.
- Choose Transactions > Equipment > Transport Deliveries.
- Enter a Truck ID. Transport requests assigned to this truck are listed.
- For each job dispatched, mark the Dispatched check box and enter a date and time. A dispatched date and time must be entered before the Delivered check box can be entered.
- For each job that has reached its destination, mark the Delivered check box and enter a date and time. You cannot change the dis patched date and time after the Delivered check box is marked.
- Choose Process.
