You can use the Scheduled Maintenance Forecast Inquiry window to view scheduled maintenance that is anticipated within a certain period of time. You can filter by equipment ID, model, or category, maintenance class or type, or service call ID.
This is useful, for example, if you need to rent out a forklift for 30 days. You can use this window to see if maintenance is anticipated for any of your rental forklifts within that time period. You can choose which equipment to rent out based on this information.
Similarly, if you are using Signature Service Management, this window allows you to check if the equipment that is on a service call will be due for maintenance soon. An icon next to the Equipment ID on a service call will indicate whether the equipment is due for maintenance within the number of days specified as the equipment's Average Usage Calculation. If no Average Usage Calculation is specified for the equipment, the default is used.
You can choose this icon to open the Scheduled Maintenance Forecast Inquiry window with the Equipment ID already populated.

  1. Choose Inquiry > Equipment > Forecast Inquiry. To view upcoming maintenance for equipment that is on a service call, you can also open this window from the Service Call window in Service Management using the icon next to the Equipment ID field.
