Overview

Building Optimization Broker version 0.8.0beta includes several bug fixes for high priority known issues and we've sprinkled in some improvements.

The second set of K2A Rules was introduced in this release: Airflow Control Analysis. These Rules will allow you to analyze several configurations of Airflow Control.

This version was formally released on 4/6/2020 to our beta customers.

• In the BAS Inventory, a snackbar message may display "Missing Inventory URL" if a BAS Inventory hasn't ever been retrieved or a new BAS Inventory is being retrieved.
  Workaround: To verify if an inventory is being retrieved, check the BAS Agent status. It should display "Inventory Scanning". The BAS Agent logs will also display an output if the BAS Inventory is currently scanning.

• While the Ping message does not display in the User Interface, the Ping is completing in the background and the connection status will still indicate whether the Agent is connected.

• Reassigning an Agent can sometimes cache the old Agent network configuration.
  Workaround: Create an Agent, configure the network THEN assign the Agent serial number.

• Deleting an Agent throws a server error, however the Agent is actually being deleted correctly.
  Workaround: After deleting an Agent, please refresh your browser window. The deleted Agent should no longer show on the list.

• For Bacnet Agents, after inventory scanning finishes, a reboot may be required for polling to continue.

Architect

Features and Improvements

• Added Units to Sensor and Weather data views.

• Updated the Edit Sensor modal to remove units when a Conversion is applied to Float-type Sensors.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed a bug in the Architect Wizard that was limiting the amount of Profile Objects visible during mapping.

• Fixed a bug that was preventing time-series data from showing in the Sensor data view.
  
  

Known Issues

• Creating large quantities of Equipment and Sensors with the Architect Wizard can cause a timeout error.
  Workaround: Batch the Equipment and Sensor creation into smaller batches of 5-10 maximum.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed a bug that was preventing Additional Rule Processing from saving.

• Fixed a bug where Rule Builder was finding more targets than it should.

• Enabling or disabling a K2A Rule throws an error but will actually enable or disable in the background.
  Workaround: After enabling or disabling a K2A rule, refresh your browser and the K2A rule will update.
