Building Optimization Broker version 1.0.1 introduces a new report: BAS Agent Metrics!

The BAS Agent Metrics report is designed to provide you with insights into your BAS Agents, if you're into that kind of thing.

The report is available in the Reporting application.

This version was formally released on 6/17/2020 to our beta customers.

BAS Agent Metrics Report

The BAS Agent Metrics Report gives you the ability to visualize and troubleshoot your BAS Agents' operation.

Within the BAS Agent Metrics Report you can:

• Verify your fleet of BAS Agents are working properly.
• Troubleshoot any potential BAS Agent issues that may be occuring.
• View KPIs about all BAS Agents: How many Samples, Devices and Device Objects were polling over the time period selected.
• View a breakdown of these metrics per Agent and BAS Type, historized, for easy verification of functionality or pinpointing of problems.
• Filter based on BAS Agent Name or BAS Agent Serial Number.
• Select Time Ranges to understand BAS Agent performance over time.

Known Issues

• In the Equipment Report Drill Down, the Sensor Timeseries widget is loading very slowly. We are working to improve performance with this particular widget.
  Workaround: Limit the timespan for 24 hours for now to get the information to load.
• In the BAS Agent Metrics Report, when selecting a time range that is near midnight (UTC), you have to select a future date to return information.
  Workaround: Select an end date a day in the future. For instance, if you're trying to view current data for 11:00PM EDT on 6/17, you would need to select an end date of 6/19 in order to view the latest samples.

• When creating BACnet Profile Objects manually (not using the BAS Inventory), you are unable to switch the data type which can cause a problem with Binary Inputs/Outputs/Variables that may be outputing Boolean data instead of Integer.
  Workaround: Right now there is no work-around, we are planning to update this workflow to allow the User to switch the data type when manually creating Profile Objects.

Known Issues

• When an Equipment is selected in Architect, the Equipment Information panel will sometimes display the wrong information under the "Site" label. This is a UI bug and should have no impact on operation of the system.

• There are situations where a Rule may fail, but a debug message is not logged. We are working on enhanced logging to ensure that any failure will log a debug message so the problem can be resolved.
