Overview

Building Optimization Broker version 1.0.3 contains two new configuration reports: Profile and Sensor! With these reports you gain incredible visibility into your Sensor and Profile configurations to improve set up time and reduce time spent troubleshooting.

It also introduces inventory tracking for Niagara BAS Agents which will stay up to date as you add or remove devices from your BAS Agent configuration.

BOB 1.0.3 adds 14 Discharge Air Temperature rules to the K2A Rule Library. 

This version was formally released on 7/30/2020.

Reporting

Features and Improvements

We've introduced two new reports: Profile Report and Sensor Report!

The Profile Report provides the ability to view Profile metrics for your Company. With the Profile Report you can expedite new BAS Agent setup by:

• Identifying existing Profiles that may match your new building setup.
• View your list of Profiles and Profile Objects, broken down by Agent.
• View which Devices are using which Profiles.
• Export Profile data to CSV for use outside of the Building Optimization Broker.

The Sensor Report provides the ability to view Sensors that have been created in Architect. With the Sensor Report you can answer questions like:

• How many Sensors do I have set up per Equipment, Equipment Type or Site?
• Which Sensor types have I mapped for other similar Equipment?
• Export Equipment lists and/or Sensor lists for use outside of the Building Optimization Broker.

Known Issues

• In the BAS Agent Metrics Report, when selecting a time range that is near midnight (UTC), you have to select a future date to return information.
  Workaround: Select an end date a day in the future. For instance, if you're trying to view current data for 11:00PM EDT on 6/17, you would need to select an end date of 6/19 in order to view the latest samples.

Features and Improvements

• Inventory tracking for Niagara systems has been introduced in this build! When you navigate to your BAS Inventories, previously created Devices will be reflected.
  In Niagara inventories, any Device that has been created will be greyed out and will not be available for creation which will alleviate the need to remember things you've already created.

Bug Fixes

• The dreaded "Missing Inventory URL" message should no longer appear when viewing your BAS Inventory.
• Fixed a bug where batch editing a Trend Intervals for BACnet Profile Objects was setting the wrong Prop ID.
• FIxed a bug where manually creating a BACnet device would result in the UI going blank.

Known Issues

• When creating BACnet Profile Objects manually (not using the BAS Inventory), you are unable to switch the data type which can cause a problem with Binary Inputs/Outputs/Variables that may be outputting Boolean data instead of Integer.
  Workaround: Right now there is no work-around, we are planning to update this workflow to allow the User to switch the data type when manually creating Profile Objects.

Architect

Features and Improvements

• The Architect Wizard tree is now collapsible. This should provide more room for tables like the Sensors table.

Bug Fixes

• Fixed a bug where Conversions were not displaying in the Edit Sensor modal. It will now properly display applied Conversions.
